Schoenherr has new partner on dispute resolution

Bucharest - 10 februarie 2010 - Central European law firm Schoenherr has appointed Dan Costi-nescu as new partner on dispute resolution for its Bucharest office.

Costinescu has over ten years of legal experience and has advised the Petrom group in several high level litigations, as well as in negotiations of collective labour agreements. Alongside the office managing partner Sebastian Gutiu, he will run the dispute resolu-tion practice group in Bucharest. "As result of the current eco-nomic environment and the related increase in sophisticated dis-pute resolution matters our practice is witnessing a steep increase in workload. Experienced litigators are hard to come by these days, so we are very pleased to recruit a person of Dan's stature and calibre to strengthen our practice," comments Gutiu.

The hire comes three months after the promotion of Narcisa Oprea in Schoenherr’s Romanian Capital markets practice, and brings the number of partners in the firm’s Bucharest office to six.
