Bucharest - 16 octombrie 2014 - On 15th October 2014 the “Lyoness Child & Family Europe Association” presented its charity initiative “Angel for a Day” at the Romanian embassy in Vienna. The Romanian Ambassador to Austria and “Club Diplomatie & Wirtschaft” invited several guests of honour.

Graz, 16th October 2014. More than a year ago, the charitable association “Lyoness Child & Family Europe” started the charity initiative “Angel for a Day” throughout Europe. As this initiative proved to be very successful especially in Romania, the Romanian Ambassador in Vienna, H.E. Silvia Davidoiu, decided to inform a broader audience about the project in an official presentation on 15th October 2014. “Club Diplomatie & Wirtschaft” co-hosted the event and thereby also emphasized its cooperation with Lyoness.

The “Angel for a Day” initiative calls on Lyoness loyalty merchants, members and network marketers to start independent “Angel for a Day” activities. “Socially disadvantaged children and adolescents as well as their families, for whom simple things such as school supplies, toiletries, excursions or going to the dentist are pure luxuries, benefit from these activities”, explains Nina Passegger, spokesperson of the Lyoness Child & Family Europe association. “The aim of the ‘Angel for a Day’ activities is to make these everyday things accessible to those people and to provide them with urgently needed products in order to give them strength for their future.” The commitment of Lyoness partners and members was great so that last year ten activities could be implemented in Romania alone benefitting approx. 200 children. “I am very happy that this many ‘Angel for a Day’ projects were implemented in Romania and I hope that many will follow”, emphasizes H.E. Ambassador Davidoiu.

The numerous guests, among them the Ambassadors of Malaysia and the Philippines as well as numerous representatives from the economic sector, enjoyed an informative and diverse evening. H.E. Ambassador Davidoiu took the opportunity to present Romania as an attractive holiday destination. Live music by artist Diana Rasina and national Romanian dishes and wines created a delightful atmosphere.
