Schoenherr si Asociatii garnered two awards from Romania's leading business publication, “Ziarul Financiar”, at the Lawyers' Gala event that took place in Bucharest on Wednesday evening.
One of the awards was for Schoenherr’s role in advising on the main transaction in Romania’s banking sector over the past 12 months, namely for having assisted the shareholders of Volksbank Romania in the unit’s sale to Banca Transilvania. Schoenherr’s second ZF award recognizes the firm’s advisory work on the biggest transaction in the country’s leasing industry: Schoenherr assisted VBLeasing International on the sale of its Romanian and Polish subsidiaries to Poland’s Getin Holding.
The two awards from Romania’s most high-profile business newspaper provide acknowledgement of Schoenherr's performance and transactional record over the past 12 months. The Bucharest office’s strong standing also contributed to Schoenherr’s win last week in the “South East Europe” category of the Europe awards distributed by the renowned legal publisher Chambers and Partners.
